About Me...

(Licensed since 2018).

My name is Nancy Gonzålez. I was born and raised in the Valley where I live currently with my two young boys and my husband. As an experienced psychotherapist, I find great joy in helping others navigate their journeys. With an eclectic orientation, I draw from a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to tailor my interventions to each individual’s unique needs and challenges.

I have an educational background from Cal State Northridge with a Bachelor’ degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree from Phillips Graduate Institute. My education has equipped me with a well-rounded understanding of human behavior and societal influences. Additionally, my education and over ten years of clinical experience have further honed my expertise in the field of psychotherapy.

Through my dedication to working in several clinics such as: The Department of Mental Health, North Los Angeles County Regional Center, The Jewish Family Service, and Private Practice, I have gained diverse knowledge. I strive to provide compassionate and affective support to my clients, fostering positive growth and healing.

As a psychotherapist and a mother, I am privileged to have a unique perspective on nurturing and understanding the needs of children and adolescents. My experience as a parent complements my professional expertise, enabling me to connect empathetically with young clients and their families. Working with couples and individuals has taught me the intricacies of interpersonal relationships and the importance of open communication and emotional support.

I strive to create a safe and supportive environment in my therapy sessions, empowering my clients to explore their emotions, thoughts and experiences freely. By combining my roles as a therapist and a mother, I bring compassionate and a holistic approach to my practice, fostering growth, resilience, and positive change in the lives of those I work with.
